 The Minister of
Labor Dr Majeed Bin Mohsin Al-Alawi, chairman of the supreme
council for vocational training, awarded Oriental Press in the
third honoring ceremony of outstanding establishment in human
resources training and development in 2008, which was held on
Wednesday the 27th of May 2009. In the presence of;
Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Chairman Dr.
Isam Fakhro, General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions (GFBTU)
Secretary General Sayed Salman Jafar Al Mahfoodh, Senior
Officials from the Ministry of Labor, members of the Qualitative
Councils for Vocational Training and invitees. The
Minister of Labor lauded the efforts of the outstanding
establishments - including Oriental Press – for backing up human
resources development programs as well as the national labor
force in the private sector. Mr Mohammed AlZeera, the Managing
Director of Oriental Press has shown his gratitude on this
event, wishing the press continues successful efforts in
upgrading the skills of the national workforce in order to fill
in professional positions within the press.
